Sri Lanka, a small country in the Indian Ocean with plenty of beautiful landscapes, ancient places and pleasant people. The contrast of this island is amazing: the populous west coast with its pulsating city Colombo, the mountainous central region with its tee plantations and spiritual sites and the south coast, where surfers enjoy Sri Lankas waves among the shades of small villages and beautiful beaches. I really enjoyed getting in touch with the honest and polite people, hiking up a pilgrims site to see the sun rise and feel true spirituality, driving with a young local boy through Minneriya Wewa National Park, walking for hours through endless tea plantations and relaxing in small villages near the ocean to process the experiences of this trip.
