A three week trip to southern parts of Norway was full of nature, beautiful landscapes and solitude. Snapshot: We hike a small mountain, pitch our tents, a cloudless sky above, glinting lakes below and not knowing that the upcoming night is perseiden night. As the last rays of sun turn the landscape orange, we sit down, having a delicious meal and a couple of hot drinks. Despite strong winds and the fresh air we endure several hours until the milky way lights up the sky, the lakes and the mountains around us. Besides the spectacle taking place above our heads, it is the silence that forces us to stay awake until the first glimmer of the morning sun touches our cold and tired faces.Read More
We had a great day at the Danish coast line. No wind, no clouds, small waves – perfect time for a SUP session.
Sri Lanka, a small country in the Indian Ocean with plenty of beautiful landscapes, ancient places and pleasant people. The contrast of this island is amazing: the populous west coast with its pulsating city Colombo, the mountainous central region with its tee plantations and spiritual sites and the south coast, where surfers enjoy Sri Lankas waves among the shades of small villages and beautiful beaches. I really enjoyed getting in touch with the honest and polite people, hiking up a pilgrims site to see the sun rise and feel true spirituality, driving with a young local boy through Minneriya Wewa National Park, walking for hours through endless tea plantations and relaxing in small villages near the ocean to process the experiences of this trip.

Spontaneously I packed my tent, hiking shoes and photo gear and took a plane via Lisbon to Ponta Delgada. The city is located in the centre of the Atlantic Ocean on São Miguel Island. Crossing the “Green Island” I slept in deep valleys and on overgrown hills, pitching my tent whenever and wherever I want. I watched the clouds shadowing forest landscapes and stunning lakes, discovered steam clouds rising out of hot springs and enjoyed the main attraction of the Azores: the color green.
